Handyman in Nice, at fixed prices
A local handyman for the small jobs: hanging, filling, assembling, replacing. Send a photo in English, get a fixed price and a slot, usually within 48 hours.
What we can help with
Whether you've just moved to Nice, are about to leave a rental, or look after a second home from abroad, the jobs are the same: things to put up, things to fix, things to tidy before someone else moves in.
Moving in
Flat-pack furniture assembled in the room it's going in, wardrobes and bookcases secured to the wall, curtain rods, blinds, mirrors and shelves hung level with the right wall plug.
Moving out
Holes from shelves and frames filled and sanded, paint touch-ups if you have the original paint, silicone seals redone, loose handles tightened: the list to tick off before handing the keys back.
Everyday repairs
Light bulbs on high ceilings, ceiling lights on existing fittings, switches and sockets replaced like for like, a roller shutter strap that snapped, a sliding door that drags on worn rollers.
What we do, and what we don't
Walls in Nice range from old plaster to concrete and plasterboard, so we check before drilling and bring the right fixings. And if a job needs a qualified electrician, plumber or joiner, we say so from the photo.
We do
- Small repairs that fit in a visit of two hours or less
- Like-for-like replacements on existing installations
- Flat-pack assembly and wall fixing
- Roller shutter straps, cranks and slats; sliding door rollers
- Visits arranged remotely for second homes and holiday rentals
We don't (we'll point you elsewhere)
- New electrical circuits, fuse boards, electric shutter motors
- Plumbing beyond resealing, full repainting, flooring, kitchens
- Work at height that needs scaffolding or a cherry picker
- Moving, deliveries, rubbish removal
- Selling the items to be fitted

Frequently asked questions
How much does a handyman cost in Nice?
Our prices are fixed and include travel and basic hardware: €49 for a single quick job (30 minutes max), €69 for a one-hour visit, €119 for two hours. We confirm which one applies from a photo before coming. Specific parts or items (the shelf, the light fitting, a shutter strap) are not included.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Write to us in English on WhatsApp or by email and we reply in English. Same prices and same invoices as for French-speaking clients.
How many jobs fit in a one-hour visit?
Usually three or four small ones: for example two shelves, a curtain rod and a mirror, or one flat-pack chest of drawers plus a couple of holes to fill. Send your list and we'll tell you what fits before the visit.
Can you help before I move out of my rental?
Yes, that's one of our most common requests: holes filled, seals redone, loose things tightened. Book a few days before the check-out inspection (état des lieux) so filler has time to dry.
How quickly can you come?
We're based in Nice and usually come within 48 hours, in every part of the city.
Can I get the French tax credit?
If you are a French tax resident, yes: home handyman services qualify for the 50% service-à-la-personne tax credit, whether or not you pay income tax, within the €500 annual cap per household for small handyman jobs (visits of 2 hours maximum). In practice, the one-hour visit at €69 costs you €34.50. Parts you buy yourself are not covered, and the tax credit does not apply to jobs invoiced to businesses. You receive a tax certificate every year.
